The Myaamia Center is partnering with Miami University Dining to celebrate Myaamia culture and food.
Miicitaawi Myaamia Miicioni–Let’s Eat Myaamia Food is from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday April 30 at Western Dining Commons on Miami’s Campus.
The event will include traditional Myaamia food, which celebrates traditional ingredients and cooking methods. Guests can enjoy foods such as bison meatballs, smoked turkey corn soup, sassafras brined pork loin and cornmeal fried turkey with maple persimmon glaze, along with many different seasonal sides and desserts. The event is open to the public as well as students.
