GeoFair, Cincinnati’s largest non-profit gem, mineral, fossil and jewelry show, is coming to the Butler County Fairground Event Center, located at 1715 Fairgrove Ave. in Hamilton. The event lasts two days, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 26 and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 27.
The event’s theme is “Unusual Fossils & Crystals.” Over 40 vendors will attend. GeoFair will also include private collections from various museums and universities for viewing.
GeoFair offers free rock collections and fossils for kids under 12 years old. The event will have Earth science games and geode cracking as well.
Entrance to GeoFair costs $12 for adults and $5 for children; its website contains more information on purchasing passes.
