The Havighurst Center will host author Narine Abgaryan and her translators for a conversation about her book “To Go On Living,” at 4:30 p.m. April 22 in Harrison Hall, Miami University. Abgaryan is a Russian-Armenian writer who fled Moscow after her critiques of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
In her book, Abgaryan wrote a series of short stories set in rural Armenia after the Armenian war in the 1990s. Following the event there will be an informal Q&A as well as a book signing of “To Go On Living.”
Free copies of the book will be available to the first 25 attendees of the event.
