Hueston Woods State Park will hold an orienteering event 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. April 19 at the Nature Center. According to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), a naturalist will instruct participants how to navigate using a map and compass.
The event will be off-trail, and Hueston Woods encourages participants to wear long pants. Children may attend, but must be accompanied by an adult.
The event is one of the numerous naturalist programs the park held in April.
