The Oxford NAACP hosts its annual Freedom Fund Banquet at 4:30 p.m. April 26 in Miami’s Shriver Center. This year’s theme is “Taking Action Together for Justice, Equity, and Dignity for All.” Courtis Fuller, Cincinnati news broadcaster and journalist, will speak at the event.
Programming begins at 5 p.m. after a brief cocktail hour with a cash bar. A buffet dinner, announcement of 2025 scholarship winners and new Life Members and an award ceremony for the Community Service and the Diversity Educator of the Year will follow.
The event’s revenue supports NAACP regional activities and scholarships for graduating Talawanda seniors.
To attend the banquet, call (513) 523-3640 by April 23 and purchase a ticket for $60. For more information about the event or how to donate, contact [email protected].
