Oxford Police responded to reports of vandalism, domestic violence and thefts last week.
Police responded to multiple reports of vandalism in Howell Park and Helen S. Ruder Reserve March 24. Police found spray paint on the park map, porta-potty, trash cans and two vehicle bollards. They have not identified suspects at this time.
Police responded to an assault in an apartment March 25. A mother shoved, threw a toy at and kicked one of her daughters after an argument. Oxford Fire took the victim to the hospital and police arrested the mother for domestic violence.
Multiple people called police to the Walmart parking lot March 27. Two men attempted to steal cars around the lot. None of the attempts were successful, and no suspects are known at this time.
A woman and her children walked out of Walmart without paying for her merchandise March 30. The woman skipped scanning about $200 worth of products. The suspect has not been arrested at this time.
