The Oxford City Council decided to unanimously pass the resolutions to move forward with Phase 5 and 6 of the OATS project.
At the council’s March 18 meeting, several residents stood in support of the OATS project and the trail proposed to run from Talawanda High School to the middle school.
“It’s a critical transportation need for portions of our community that are poorly connected,” Councillor David Prytherch said.
The city will move forward with sending in the plans for construction and creating contracts to complete the project.
