
Butler County Auditor Nancy Nix will host a tax forum in Hamilton to discuss the potential changes coming to Ohio property tax laws. The forum will take place at 6 p.m. March 31 on the first floor of the Government Services Center at 315 High St. in Hamilton.
Butler County legislators will be there to field questions regarding the potential changes to tax laws. Legislators expected to attend include Sen. George Lang and Reps. Jennifer Gross, Thomas Hall, Diane Mullins and Rodney Creech.
Issues being discussed include expanding the Homestead Program, getting rid of non-business credit, expanding owner occupancy credit, limiting how much revenue can be given to school districts after reappraisals and creating a plan for targeted relief.
