Redhawk men’s basketball prepares to take part in March Madness

Miami University men’s basketball enters the MAC (Mid-American Conference) Tournament, hoping to get seeded in the NCAA March Madness tournament. The MAC champion automatically gets a spot in March Madness, raising the stakes for the eight teams that have made it this far. 

Only one MAC team’s season stays alive. The RedHawks aim to play until it’s over.

Miami takes on the seventh-seeded Eastern Michigan Eagles in the quarterfinals at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 13. This is the team’s first game of the single-elimination tournament. Miami men’s basketball is 27-33 all-time in the conference tournament. The 2007-2008 season was the last time the program obtained a seed in March Madness.
