Bello Wood Fired Pizza Studio and Misrule Brewing are opening the first taproom brewery in Oxford on the first weekend of April.
Rhett Brymer, a former Miami professor, now at the University of Cincinnati, and Eric Stenstrom, a current Miami professor, collaborated on the brewery. Brymer says they are looking forward to serving all of Oxford soon.
The brewery is in the back of the pizza restaurant at 31 W. High St., and brewing is done in-house. The bar also serves seltzers, wines and hard liquors in addition to the variety of Misrule beers on tap, according to Brymer.
Misrule Brewing has featured its beers in uptown festivals in Oxford in the past.
It will be the first taproom brewery in Oxford since Quarter Barrel Brewery + Pub closed in 2018.
