Miami softball will return to Miami a month into the season, having already played 18 games so far. Despite the number of games played, the RedHawks have still not competed at home. Every game this season has been played on an opponent’s field or at a neutral one. Miami softball is 5-13 overall.
That changes this weekend as the RedHawks host the Miami Tournament Friday, March 7 through Sunday, March 9. Michigan State University and Northern Kentucky University are coming to Oxford to battle the softball team which has a home field advantage for the first time this season. All teams will play four games, each counting toward the regular season.
Games for the Miami Tournament will be played at the Miami Softball Stadium located between Yager Stadium and Millett Hall. Chatterbox Sports provides subscribed fans access to stream each game. For tickets and the Miami softball schedule visit the team website.
