Hueston Woods is hosting its annual Maple Syrup Festival. The event will run March 1-2 and again March 8-9.
The festival will feature an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Smokehouse Restaurant at Hueston Woods each day of the event. Admission is $10 for adults and $8 for children 10 and under.
Hueston Woods will offer maple syrup tours noon to 4 p.m. The tours include a hayride beginning at the beach parking lot, where participants will learn about maple syrup production.
The nature center will be open 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., featuring indoor and outdoor exhibits of reptiles, birds and other creatures.
Festival attendees can also visit the Johnny Appleseed Lounge to try cocktails made with maple syrup.
