Calendula, the newest restaurant in Oxford, opened Feb. 13. It is located at 151 W. High St., just past United Dairy Farmers. The Lounge @ Calendula opened next to the restaurant and serves as a bar/lounge.
Calendula serves Mexican food and has a variety of tacos and salads. The restaurant is open Monday through Thursday, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday through Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. The lounge is open Wednesday through Saturday, from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Calendula is looking to offer, “A dining and cocktail experience in Oxford like no other,” according to its website. It is also seeking to add Sunday brunch in the future.
