Three new exhibitions open for the Spring 2025 semester at Miami University’s Richard and Carole Cocks Art Museum.
Alongside showcasing artwork from its private collections in the Douglass Gallery, the museum features “Tooling Around with Jim Dine” in its McKie Gallery and “Art & Exchange: African Textiles in the Global Marketplace” in its Farmer Gallery.
“Tooling Around with Jim Dine” uses the artist’s work spread across multiple styles to explore his life. “Art & Exchange” collaborates with the Art and Architecture History Capstone class at Miami, displaying works created by students that highlight African textiles and their role across greater African society.
These exhibitions will close June 7. Museum admission for all visitors is free.
