Miami University professor Bruce Murray will perform Friday at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church for a special Valentine’s Day concert. The event is part of the Red Door Community Concerts series.
The concert starts at 12:15 p.m. and is expected to run until 1 p.m. Murray will begin his performance after remarks from Rev. Julie Blake Fisher.
Murray will highlight work by classical composers Ludwig van Beethoven and Johann Sebastian Bach. He will also play 21st century pieces by contemporary composers Quinn Mason and Missy Mazzoli.
More productions in the Red Door Community Concerts series are planned throughout the year. Organist John Deaver will play March 21, while jazz vocalist Mandy Gaines will perform June 6.
