The City of Oxford will host its two-day 2024 Holiday Festival, which celebrates the community and the holiday spirit.
The first day begins with celebrating the Chamber of Commerce’s “ ‘Twas the Night Before Business” Holiday Walk from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6 in the Uptown district. Uptown will be decorated with holiday adornments and visitors are encouraged to vote on their favorite businesses’ decorations.
The second day of celebrations will begin at the OCAC with crafts, activities, dance performances and an appearance from Santa Claus at different times from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7. Later, beginning at 4:30 p.m. and lasting until 8:30 p.m., the festivities continue in the Uptown Parks with Santa photo ops, horse-drawn carriages, holiday sing-alongs, a mechanical reindeer and more.
These events are free for the public and available for all ages to get involved with the holidays. For more information on the schedule of activities or more information, visit Enjoy Oxford’s website.
