The RedHawks Football team (5-4) will play against Kent State at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13 at Yager Stadium. The home game is the first of the final three games en route to the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Tournament. The RedHawks are tied for second place in the MAC and hold a current win streak of four games.
Miami Redhawks women’s field hockey team finished its season as MAC Regular Season Champions. Pending its Wednesday MAC Tournament matchup against No. 6 seed Ohio University, the RedHawks could face off against No. 2 seed Appalachian State at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7 in the Miami University Field Hockey Complex.
RedHawks men’s golf secured a first-place victory at the 15-team Kapolei Invitational in Hawaii on Oct. 31, leaving them with an overall regular season record of 55-19.
The women’s soccer team finished the regular season with a record of 8-5-6. They lost their MAC tournament quarterfinal match against No. 4 seed Kent State at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3 in Kent, Ohio.
The men’s and women’s basketball teams opened their seasons with wins over Appalachian State earlier this week. The men won 77-63 and the women 75-48. The men will open their home campaign against Wright State at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9 in Millett Hall. The women will play Xavier University away at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10.
The RedHawks track and field and cross country teams are set to compete in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional meets Friday, Nov. 15 in Norton, Ohio.
The Miami women’s swimming and diving team will compete against Ohio University at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov.9 at the Corwin M. Nixon Aquatic Center. They currently have lost two meets and won its home opener Friday, Oct.18 with a score of 164-134 against Ball State.
Women’s volleyball (7-17) will compete in a conference matchup against Western Michigan University at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Five games remain on their schedule.
