“Kindness is the most important thing when it comes to hair,” said Co-owner Regina Schrimper. “We often check in with clients to see how they’re doing. As a business owner, you need to be as involved with your clientele as possible. I have clients who come in every other week and some who only come in twice a year. I give everyone the same amount of care and attention. Sometimes, I feel like I’m both their therapist and hairdresser, which I truly love.”
Schrimper has been doing hair in Oxford for 37 years and loves running the Rose Room Salon with Julie Combs. She said she is passionate about operating a successful salon in an area she describes as ideal for both local residents and students.
