A group of local conservation experts will hold a panel and audience Q&A on Oxford’s profuse deer population from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20 at the Oxford Lane Library, located at 441 S. Locust St.
Author Erika Howsare will also be present on the panel, titled “Oh, Deer! A Community Conversation with the Experts.”
The following evening from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20 at the Oxford Lane Library, Howsare will talk about her newest book “The Age of Deer: Trouble and Kinship With Our Wild Neighbors,” which was published at the beginning of the year.
A book signing will be subsequent to Howsare’s discussion.
