The Well Bible Church will hold an Operation Christmas Child shoebox kickoff and packing party for the holiday season. 

The shoebox kickoff will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oct. 13 at The Well Bible Church, located 5327 Stillwell Beckett Road. Those participating can grab a shoebox to go or stay to help pack shoe boxes with gifts. 

The Operation Christmas Child shoebox is organized by Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child to give children in need fun and meaningful gifts this holiday season. 

Shoeboxes should include a quality “wow” item, personal care items, school supplies, toys and accessories. Items that should not be included in the shoebox are edible items, liquids, breakables or glass containers, used items, scary or disturbing items. 

Oxford’s drop off location for Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes will be at the Cobblestone Community Church located at 4191 Kehr Road. The national pick up week for the Christmas shoeboxes is Nov. 18-25.
