The Oxford Lane Library is hosting Family Literacy Night featuring Pura Belpré Honor-winning author Mariana Llanos from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8 in the Oxford Havighurst Meeting Room. The event will include a reading of her book, “Benita and the Night Creatures,” with a book sale and signing to follow.
While the event is aimed at children ages 3 to 8, all families with children younger or older are encouraged to attend.
Those interested in just purchasing a book and getting it signed should arrive around 5:40 p.m.
