Oxford’s annual ShareFest will occur May 16-21, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This year, there will be no scheduled off-campus pick-ups. The only pick-ups will occur on campus at every residence hall, as well as Miami University’s Chestnut Fields parking lot.
ShareFest is a non-profit corporation that collects items donated by Miami University students and Oxford residents at the end of every academic year. Items collected go to residents in need, as well as several social service agencies.
The nonprofits and government agencies that participate in ShareFest can give donated items to those in need or sell the items. All proceeds benefit the agency and its clients.
Volunteers can sign up to drive and pick up donations on campus. ShareFest has a list of needed donations, acceptable donations and unacceptable donations on their website.
