The Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police has recognized the Oxford Police Department as the May 2024 Agency of the Month.
The recognition is part of a program by the OACP titled “Sharing Ohio’s Best.” The OPD was recognized for having “successfully highlighted the importance of strong community relationships.”
Some events and programs hosted by the Oxford police include Coffee With a Cop, Citizens Police Academy and a Cops and Kids Holiday Dinner and Shopping Event, according to a news release.
