Talawanda baseball officially won the Southwest Ohio Conference (SWOC) title on April 29 with a 6-2 victory over Harrison. Junior Micah Daniels pitched six strong innings for Talawanda in the game, allowing just two runs. Senior Tyler Robinson was 3/3 with two RBIs. The team has seven games over the next nine days to finish out the regular season.
Talawanda softball took its first SWOC loss this week to Harrison on April 29. Talawanda already clinched the SWOC title with a game before. The team plays two more games on its regular season schedule.
The Talawanda Middle School boys and girls track and field teams both won the SWOC Championship this week.
