Miami University Police reported incidents of criminal mischief, property damage, drug violations and stalking during the initial week of April.
From April 1 to April 9, the department responded to 11 fire alarms, four medical assists, three criminal mischief and property damage cases, two alcohol violations, one instance of telecommunications harassment and one theft.
Officers reported property damage at Armstrong Student Center on April 3 and at Marcum Hotel and Conference Center on April 2. They also reported cases of criminal mischief at Symmes Hall on April 2, Dodds Hall on April 5 and McFarland Hall on April 6.
On April 4, officers reported three fire alarms from Brandon Hall, as well as an alcohol violation, a verbal warning for disorderly conduct and one medical assist. Additionally, there was a case of stalking on the Oxford campus.
On April 5, officers reported two thefts, one in Dodds Hall and one in Havighurst Hall. Additionally, criminal mischief was reported at Dodds Hall, two medical assists at Bishop Hall and Tappan Hall, and a drug violation at Morris Hall on April 6. An assault was reported at McBride Hall on April 9.
