The Coalition for a Healthy Community, Oxford Area, is holding a “F.R.E.S.H. Air Fair” to promote family resources and education about safety and health.
On Saturday, April 20, the coalition will occupy Talawanda High School from 9 a.m. to noon, providing activities for children in a wide range of ages. Participants can play corn hole, tour an emergency vehicle, make arts and crafts, do literacy activities and try fruits and vegetables.
Children can also be fitted for free bike helmets and instructed on bike safety, as supplies last.
Law enforcement officers will be present to help dispose of unused medications that people wish to bring in and throw out to improve the safety of their homes.
