Travis Zariwny, the director of the movie “Cabin Fever” will take questions from the audience following a screening of his 2016 horror film 7 p.m. March 1 at the Oxford Community Arts Center.
Zariwny is in Oxford as one of the art directors for Sylvester Stallone’s film “Alarum,” which is being filmed in town this week.
“Cabin Fever” is a horror movie about five friends facing a flesh-eating virus while staying at a remote cabin. The film has a 12% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes with more than 500 ratings.
Enjoy Oxford communications and marketing manager Marina Young said she met Zariwny when “Alarum” was filming near the Enjoy Oxford storefront uptown. Zariwny said that he had directed the movie “Cabin Fever,” and the idea for a screening and Q&A session came about.
The event is free, but space is limited. You can reserve tickets here. Free popcorn will be available, and DORA drinks are allowed at the event. The movie is R-rated.
