Between Dec. 9 and Feb. 6, the Miami University Police Department responded to 220 incidents. Incidents included 28 fire alarms, 28 medical assists, 22 alcohol violations, 15 reports of theft and 15 traffic law violations.
The 28 fire alarms were reported from campus locations, including various residence halls and academic buildings. Hahne and Dorsey Hall each had three fire alarms.
Eighteen of the 22 alcohol violations occurred in residence halls, while four were reported off-campus.
The 15 theft reports were reported from multiple locations on campus, including two each at Flower Hall and Goggin Ice Center.
Of 15 traffic law violations reported from various campus locations, three were for operating a vehicle under the influence.
MUPD also responded to four drug violations at Anderson Hall, Heritage Commons, Maplestreet Station and Tappan Hall. There was also one hazing incident reported on Feb. 2 that was said to have taken place at an unknown, off-campus location.
