Terry Mann, the chair of the Great Lakes Region of the Astronomical League, will talk about the upcoming solar eclipse and Ohio Dark Sky Initiatives at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 12 at Lebanon Citizens National Bank, 30 W. Park Place.
The solar eclipse will pass through Ohio on Monday, April 8, leaving Oxford in totality beginning at 3:08 p.m. and lasting for just under three minutes.
Mann is a Solar System Ambassador for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) where she interprets the latest space exploration science.
The presentation is hosted by Audubon Miami Valley, a local chapter of the National Audubon Society in Butler and Preble County.
