The Kiwanis Club of Oxford is looking for volunteers to collect donations for the Salvation Army in front of Oxford’s Kroger grocery store as part of the annual bell-ringing campaign.
2023 marks the 22nd consecutive year the Kiwanis Club of Oxford will collect money for the Salvation Army at Oxford’s Kroger location.
According to a news release, the bell ringing is meant to represent the sound of help, hope and comfort for those in need during the holiday season. The red kettle donation points are sponsored by the national Salvation Army organization, but 90% of the proceeds stay in Oxford. Donations go to the Family Resource Center to support local social service programs.
Volunteers may sign up at oxfordkiwanis.org or by calling Dave Belka at (513)-497-5747.
