The Oxford Community Arts Center will welcome visitors to a contra dance and a holiday festival with Santa during the first weekend of December.
The contra dance will be from 8 to 10 p.m. Dec. 1, offering visitors an opportunity to dance with other members of the community. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students.
On Dec. 2, the art center will welcome visitors for a variety of fun holiday-themed activities.
Children can take pictures with Santa and make arts and crafts in the north parlor room from noon to 2 p.m.
Talawanda Band Boosters will operate an artisan craft market at the center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Flowing Grace School of Dance also will hold its holiday show at 1 p.m. in the theater.
Santa will also be making a visit to Apple Farm Service in West College Corner on Dec. 2 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Visitors to the store at that time can get a free printed picture with Santa, make a homemade ornament and enjoy hot chocolate or cider.
