Miami University’s Students Demand Action group is partnering with the Interfaith Center for a talk titled “Gun Violence in the U.S.: Interfaith Perspectives.” The event will be at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 16 at 16 S. Campus Ave.
The event will have speakers from Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Hopedale Unitarian Universalist and Oxford Friends. The talk will be led by Students Demand Action community engagement lead Katie Dunn and will cover “intersections of faith, gun violence, advocacy, and finding hope,” according to the event’s page.
Students Demand Action is a national activism organization dedicated to advocating for an end to gun violence. Miami hosts a local chapter.
Oxford community members and Miami students are invited to attend.
