Talawanda Boys Soccer defeated Franklin County High School on Sept. 27 with a score of 8-0. The team lost to Northwest High School on Sept. 25 with a score of 6-1. It beat Mt. Healthy High School on Sept. 21 with a final score of 10-5. Its record now stands at 2-8-0.
Boys golf played at the Hilliard Invitational on Sept. 25. The team will attend the Monroe Invitational on Sept. 30 at Heritage Country Club.
Girls golf will take on Lakota East at 4 p.m. on Sept. 25 at Wetherington Golf Club.
Girls tennis attended the Greater Cincinnati Tennis Coach Association Varsity Coaches’ Classic Tournament on Sept. 23. It faced Middletown High School on Sept. 26 and won 5-0. The team’s record stands at 8-10.
Girls volleyball suffered a loss to Sycamore High School on Sept. 19, with a final score of 3-1. The set scores were 25-19, 20-25, 20-25 and 18-25. It came back with a win against Mt. Healthy High School on Sept. 21 resulting in a final score of 3-0. The set scores were 25-7, 25-10 and 25-1. Its record stands at 11-2 according to statistics posted to the Southwest Ohio Conference website.
Varsity football pulled out its first win against the Carroll Patriots on Sept. 15, resulting in a 37-21 score. The team lost to Fort Loramie on Sept. 22 with a final score of 34-19. Its record stands at 1-5. The team faces Northwest High School at 5:45 p.m. on Sept. 29 for their homecoming game at Talawanda High School.
