Miami University held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new Clinical Health Sciences and Wellness facility and “to celebrate Miami’s healthcare heroes of today and tomorrow,” on Sept. 14, according to a press release.
Greg Crawford, Miami President, spoke at a ceremony at the facility, which is located behind Goggin Ice Center on South Campus Avenue.
The project began in December of 2020 and took two years and $96 million to complete. The 165,000 square foot building contains simulated doctors offices and operating rooms, an orthopedic surgery lab with external monitoring rooms and cold storage for cadavers.c
