Talawanda Girls Volleyball defeated Fairfield in each set on Sept. 5, with the scores 25-21, 25-23 and 25-18. They played Edgewood on Sept. 6, winning 25-12, 25-15 and 25-10. The team kept the streak alive facing Northwest on Sept. 7, which resulted in 25-10, 25-15 and 25-12 scores. The team bumped their season record up to 8-0, according to statistics posted to the Southwest Ohio Conference website.
Talawanda cross country attended the Mason Invitational on Sept. 9. The girls placed 12th in the 5,000 meters varsity, scoring 368. The boys team did not place.
Girls tennis faced off against Lebanon on Sept. 11 for a 4-1 loss. They redeemed themselves on Sept. 12, defeating Northwest with a score of 4-1. Their record is 4-9.
Boys soccer had a tough week, losing 7-2 to Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy on Sept. 11. Their record is 1-5-0. Girls soccer also had a tough week, losing 5-0 to Wyoming on Sept. 9. Their record is 3-3-0.
Talawanda football lost to Edgewood on Sept. 8 with a score of 51-7. Their record is 0-4.
