Miami University’s new first-year class contains 4,000 students, 100 down from last year.
The new class includes students from 47 states and 43 countries, according to a press release. Here’s how the new class stacks against last year’s:
- 62% of the new class is from Ohio, compared to 61.4% last year.
- 15% are “multicultural,” compared to 14.4% last year.
- The average GPA was 3.84, compared to 3.88 last year.
- 18% are first-generation college students, compared to 16.8% last year.
