The Oxford Community Arts Center is holding 2nd Friday events throughout the summer.

The events kick off June 9 with a gallery opening and performance by Anna & The Deeper Well. The gallery reception is at 6 p.m. in the first floor galleries and the performance is at 7:30 p.m. in the north parlor.

Two new exhibitions will be presented at the gallery opening. The first one, Proud, is the June Art Exhibition and focuses on LGBTQIA+ living. The second one features new works by Marta Wendt, an Oxford-based artist.

Anna & The Deeper Well began as a father-daughter duo. In 2012, Anna’s husband joined the band as a bassist. Together, the trio plays both covers and original songs spanning a wide range of genres.
