Oxford Country Club receives five critical health violations

The Butler County Health Department inspected one Oxford business this past week. They also visited two businesses in West Chester, three in Fairfield and one in Hamilton.

Oxford Country Club, located at 6200 Contreras Road, received five critical and six non-critical violations on May 30. All critical reports were corrected during the inspection.

The critical violations seen included dented cans of marinara and bacon/bean soup, storage of raw ground beef above salad dressing and other raw produce, debris on can opener blades, sliced tomatoes being stored at 50 degrees Fahrenheit rather than below 41 degrees and the storage of butane on a shelf with food items.

Some of the non-critical violations included debris on shelves and in the cooler, the usage of hot shot fly traps and the usage of dirtied utensils.
