Grant to help expand renovations for low-income homeowners

People Working Cooperatively, a nonprofit organization that provides repairs, energy conservation, and accessibility modifications to allow people to remain in their homes, received a $2.5 million grant from the Farmer Family Foundation to fix homes in Hamilton, Clermont, Butler and Warren counties.

“The ability to address all of the home’s needs at one time is not only cost-effective and efficient, but it  allows families to stay in their homes and gain economic stability from improved conditions,” said PWC president Jock Pitts.

According to a press release, the grant will decrease PWC’s waitlist.
