Hazing and sexual offenses reported to Miami Police


Between April 18 and April 24, Miami University Police Department reported 34 total incidents.

Open cases include hazing, property damage, sexual offenses, and telecommunications fraud.

Police reported that four forensic exams were given to victims on Miami’s campus. All of these cases are closed. 

Other offenses include two instances of fondling on Miami’s campus.

One hazing report is open, allegedly taking place in the city of Oxford  April 24.

Reports show two property damage incidents, both on Miami’s campus. One case is still open. 

Other reports include four fire alarm reports in dorm halls and two alcohol violations for underage persons, all of which were closed.
