Oxford Presbyterian Church is holding a blood drive with the Community Blood Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 5, at 104 E. Church St.

Blood donors will receive a “Sunshine & Saving Lives” beach towel upon their donation. 

Donors can register to give blood with the CBC May 1 through July 1.

Requirements to donate blood consist of providing ID including full name, being at least 17 years of age, weighing a minimum of 110 pounds and being in good physical health.

Those under the age of 16 may donate blood with parental consent. Past CBC donors are required to bring their CBC donor ID cards. 

The Community Blood Center is an independent non-profit organization that provides blood donations to hospitals and health centers. It operates within an 18-county area of western Ohio and eastern Indiana.
