First female president of U.S. Soccer Federation to speak at Miami

U.S. Soccer Federation president Cindy Parlow Cone will talk “Lessons in Business and Leadership” from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. April 26 at the Taylor Auditorium in the Farmer School of Business. 

Cindy Parlow Cone is the first female president of the U.S. Soccer Federation and the first to enter the role as a former U.S. National Soccer Team player. Cone entered the role in March 2020, following her previous position as the vice president. Inducted in the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2018, Cone has been on teams that won two NCAA titles and later became the first head coach to win a National Women’s Soccer League Championship.

The Anderson Distinguished Lecture Series speaker will take the Taylor Auditorium stage to discuss her experience in leading the U.S. Soccer Federation and business principles that she has learned throughout her career.
