Jeffrey and Natasha Hartman, co-founders of Ukrainian Action, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the provision of humanitarian aid to people impacted by the Russia-Ukraine conflict, are speaking at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 17 on Zoom. 

The Hartmans will be talking about their experiences creating a multi-national nonprofit organization. They will also talk about the roles and responsibilities of ordinary people in the promotion of democracy at home and abroad.

This event is part of the Better Together Week in Oxford, co-sponsored by the Menard Family Center for Democracy, the Miami Center for Student Engagement, Activities and Leadership, the Harry T. Wilks Institute for Leadership and Service, META, the College of Education, Health and Society and the City of Oxford.

Registration is free but required to attend.
