Oxford’s NAACP chapter will host its annual Freedom Fund Banquet at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, April 23 at the Armstrong Student Center Pavilion. This is the first banquet the organization has hosted since before the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year’s featured speaker is Adrienne Dixson, an educator, author, and civil rights advocate. Also, the program features a buffet meal starting at 5 p.m. followed by recognitions of local diversity educators and new NAACP Life Members.
