OPD reports stolen firearms, thefts, rape and intoxication

Oxford police responded to reports of stolen firearms, theft, rape and intoxicated behavior between March 13 and March 27.

On March 13, a firearm was stolen from a business on College Corner Pike. Four more firearms were reported as stolen from a residence on Vereker Drive  March 23. Another fireman was stolen from a female by a friend she met online March 24.

Walmart reported an employee who had been caught stealing to police March 17. On March 23, police returned to Walmart to respond to the theft of 11 iPhones and 13 iPads. The suspects fled north on College Corner Pike.

A female reported a sexual assault that occurred March 11 to police. The suspect is known to the victim.

Police filed seven reports involving liquor. On March 16, officers found a woman running on top of a roof of a business on High Street. They arrested three people who were intoxicated on the roof. Also on March 16, police charged a man with disorderly conduct for urinating off an alley onto a house.
