Oxford Police responds to theft and rape calls

Oxford Police responded to reports of theft, theft of motor vehicle and rape between March 6 and March 13.

Officers responded to six counts of theft. Shoplifting was reported at the Apple Tree store, Kroger and O’Reilly’s Auto Parts. 

A firearm was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Park Lane March 12. Also reported to police was a truck stolen from the Oxford Commons parking lot March 6. 

Officers responded to a reported rape on Southpointe Parkway that occurred the morning of March 12.
