The deadline to sign up for Miami University’s Institute for Learning in Retirement (ILR) is March 20. The spring semester begins March 27 and finishes about a month later.  

The ILR runs education and exercise courses for anyone aged 50 and over who wants to expand their range of knowledge.

Courses meet once a week over a five-week period, and a $145 initial registration fee provides unlimited access to every course.

There are 70 available courses. Courses offered cover arts, society, science, literature, history, technology, current events and activities like hiking, walking, and yoga.
