Some of the many wildflowers to be seen in Silvoor Biological Sanctuary.

Miami University’s Natural Areas will hold wildflower walks at Silvoor Biological Sanctuary. The walks will take place at 1 p.m. on eight consecutive Sundays from March 26 – May 14.

Over 60 species of wildflowers call the sanctuary home. The walks are led by members of Miami’s biology department and other wildflower enthusiasts. The walks last between 45 and 60 minutes, with each week taking a different route.

Walkers who wish to participate will meet a guide at the pavilion at Peffer Park. They are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes. All walks are free of charge.
