Hulu’s ‘Reservation Dogs’ creator to speak at Miami

Co-creator of Hulu’s “Reservation Dogs” Sterlin Harjo will speak Feb. 8, at Hall Auditorium. He will discuss his career as a filmmaker with an emphasis on his experience as an indigenous person.

“Reservation Dogs” was created by a predominately indigenous cast and crew. In 2022, the show won a Peabody award, Television Academy Honors award, and a 2022 Independent Spirit Award for Best Comedy Series, among other nominations.

Season three of the comedy is scheduled to be released in the early fall of this year.

Harjo also co-founded comedy group The 1491s. The name references the year before Christopher Columbus landed in the Americas.
