Oxford Police responds to stabbing incident, vehicle thefts

Oxford Police reported a stabbing and multiple thefts this past week. 

In the late afternoon Nov. 7, police responded to a report of a male who was allegedly being stabbed in the chest on the 500 block of South Main Street. The department is treating this incident as domestic violence and was still investigating as of Nov. 14. 

A car theft victim came to the police department in the early morning Nov. 9 to report his car was stolen from the Oxford Commons apartment complex. 

A resident reported to police that an electric bike was stolen from his residence at Hawks Landing in the afternoon Nov. 10. An electric rechargeable scooter was reported stolen in the overnight hours early Nov. 11 from a truck bed on the 100 block of West Spring Street.
